At Honey Buzz Winery, we proudly craft award-winning, small-batch meads brewed in house and served on tap. Our Queen’s Revenge, a first-place winner, and Johnny Apple, which earned second place at the Texas Mead Festival, showcase our dedication to quality and flavor. Additional house-brewed favorites include Killer Bee, Screaming Bee, and Drone’s Demise. We also offer a curated selection of bottled meads and melomels from other respected brewers.
Looking for something extra refreshing? Our house-made mead slushies are a guest favorite, available in rotating flavors such as Mead-arita, Sangria, Strawberry Daiquiri, and our fan-favorite Tropical Bee, a piña colada-inspired slushy that’s perfect for beating the Texas heat.

Humble Beginnings
Honey Buzz Winery is owned and operated by George and Paige Nester, seasoned beekeepers with over a decade of hands-on experience. With a deep understanding of honey and a passion for craftsmanship, the idea of creating mead—also known as honey wine—felt like a natural next step rather than a far-off dream. As the dream took shape, it was only fitting that it would be built with friends. Lance, one of George and Paige’s oldest friends, joined the Honey Buzz team as Head Mead Maker, bringing creativity, curiosity, and a fresh perspective to the craft. Together, George and Lance began experimenting, refining, and collaborating—blending tradition, innovation, and honey straight from the hive. That collaboration has led to something truly special. Today, Honey Buzz meads have earned award-winning recognition, including first and second place honors at the Texas Mead Festival, a testament to the care and craftsmanship behind every batch.

Creek House Honey Farm
Our honey farm sits on 100 scenic acres overlooking the Tierra Blanca Creek, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. If you find yourself falling in love with the property, you can reserve one of our four event packages for your next celebration or gathering.
We offer a wide range of amenities to make your event seamless, including a commercial kitchen, handicap-accessible restrooms, covered porches, and expansive grassy pastureland ideal for outdoor events. To help bring your vision to life, we also provide a variety of styling options such as décor, table and plate settings, altars, and multiple ceremony locations.
